Incorporated in 1865, historical Oak Grove Cemetery, located in the village of Ashaway, Rhode Island, is an irreplaceable part of our community. Oak Grove Cemetery is the final resting place of those who created Ashaway Village history and many of our founding families; some of whom include the Crandalls, Wells, Briggs, Hill and Cottrell families. Our grounds are also the final resting place of over 200 veterans from all branches of the military beginning with the Revolutionary War. Oak Grove is a tranquil place of natural beauty adorned with lovely old trees, seasonal flowers, and historic statuaries, along with 20 acres of lawn.
